# RenameClick

> RenameClick is an AI file renamer and organizer for macOS and Windows. It names supported images and documents from their contents and audio files from speech, with review before any changes are applied. The Local provider works offline after its model download.

- File Organizer sorts files into folders with AI categories, metadata folder presets, or Match folders.
- Metadata folder presets can build nested folder paths from dates, EXIF fields, raw metadata fields, and fixed text levels.
- Match folders scans the selected output folder's existing top-level subfolders and lets AI route new files to the best matching folder.
- If Match folders finds no reasonable folder, the file stays uncategorized and is applied to the output folder root.
- AI Search finds files by semantic intent across local folders.
- Auto Flow monitors folders and can hold results for review or apply configured renames and moves automatically.
- Custom AI instructions let you control naming rules and extracted fields.
- Filename format patterns support punctuation-aware Unicode word selection from AI-generated or original names with `$words{...}`, plus auto-increment counters (`$successIndex` with padding and `$index` for batch order).
- EXIF metadata can be used in filename patterns for photos.
- EXIF metadata can also be used in folder structures, for example Location / Year / Month / Day.
- Output language selection for generated filenames (English, Chinese, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, Indonesian, French, Japanese, Russian, German).
- Supported AI providers: built-in Local, local servers (Ollama, LM Studio), and optional cloud providers (OpenAI, Google Gemini, Alibaba Cloud).
- Alibaba Cloud uses Qwen 3.5 Flash in Singapore and China (Beijing).
- Provider Settings show bundled input/output token pricing for supported cloud providers.
